I only traveled few cities here in Mindanao but it was such a fulfilling experience knowing that you started from your own Country and sooner will have the chance to travel other Countries and hopefully in other Continents.
I traveled with my friends from here to other city with only few money in our pockets. We payed for the room, for our meals, transportation and other miscellaneous. So as expected, we don’t have enough to buy other stuff. It was a planned trip since my friend was planning to become a Pulis so she decided to take an exam (I’m not sure what they call it) but yeah, months before the exam she asked my friends if we are available to accompany her in CDO, then I volunteered since I have an extra money so that I can save it earlier for that trip, then my other friend too decided to come with us. We really don’t have enough money for that travel, since we are not rich, we are still kicking our ass in school, fighting the bottle of daily crisis. Anyway so that’s it, we shared foods, shared 1 room and bed, although we are only three on that trip the bed can’t accommodate us well, it’s not that big, we really need to make sure we are not moving too much, to avoid disturbing the other. That trip was awesome, even though it’s not totally perfect since we also struggled on picking cheap room, and buying cheap food, in all budgeting our money ?? Guys, it was still awesome! The part that we are struggling in 1 bed, the laughs and joke we’ve shared is totally amazing, the late night walks in Divisoria, being lost in the street then blaming your friend for walking the wrong way, then after that the smiles and stomach aching laughs is really priceless. The moment we shared foods, eating together, walking around laughing and talking was the most amazing part of traveling with friends.
Don’t stress yourself planning for a great trip. Don’t take too much effort on choosing luxurious rooms or expensive meals we you can stay somewhere cheap.It’s not for all, I mean if you are rich then spend your money, that’s yours. But for those who are planning to travel or still planning for a trip with friends, I tell you guys, be yourself, be comfortable on what you can do. Enjoy and don’t worry if there’s circumstances coming, that is always part of the game.
